Firmware Release Notes

Where to Find GigaCore and LumiNode Firmware Release Notes

Release notes for Luminex GigaCore and LumiNode firmware are available from two locations, depending on where you get your firmware.

Option 1: Araneo GigaCore software

Araneo GigaCore is Luminex's software for managing and upgrading GigaCore and LumiNode firmware. See also: LumiNode firmware upgrade.

  1. Open Araneo GigaCore.
  2. Open the 'Toolbox' menu from the top bar.
  3. Select 'Firmware update' from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select 'LumiNode' or 'GigaCore' from the sidebar on the left, as applicable.
  5. Next to the firmware version you're interested in, click the 'file' icon to view its release notes.
  6. The release notes will be downloaded and opened in your .pdf viewer.

Option 2: Luminex website (Product Downloads)

  1. Go to luminex.be/support-2/product-downloads/.
  2. Find the firmware version you're interested in.
  3. Click the 'i' (info) icon next to that version to view its release notes.

If you can't find release notes for a specific version in either location, contact Luminex support.
